The small town of Cossack (est: 1871) sits at the mouth of the Ngurin (Harding River) in the North West Pilbara region of Western Australia. Once a thriving hub of activity, now a ghost town with a colourful history, and a rather colourful present and future due to holding the impressive Cossack Art Awards each year.
This year the Cossack art awards, like everything else in the world has been affected by the outbreak of COVID-19, so this year the awards has only been open to residents of the Pilbara, and only 150 spots were available.
